Bio
Lavina is a six-piece alternative-modern metal powerhouse from Niš, Serbia, formed in the middle of 2020. Known for their explosive mix of crushing guitar riffs, atmospheric keyboards, cold electronic textures and raw, introspective lyrics, the band has rapidly risen as one of the most exciting acts on the Balkan metal scene. With a sound that bridges modern metal and progressive elements, Lavina delivers epic, cinematic live shows that leave audiences breathless.

Lavina since played promotional shows and festivals in various countries around Europe (Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Greece, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, etc.) as part of their 2023/24 “Odyssey” promotional tour. Some highlight performances include Sziget (HU), Eurosonic Noorderslag (NL), Arsenal Fest (RS), ARTmania (RO), Tallinn Music Week (EE).
2024 / 25 — New Singles

February 2026 — Eurovision
In February 2026, Lavina made history by winning Pesma za Evroviziju '26 (Serbian Eurovision Contest) with their powerful single “Kraj mene” (which has double meaning in Serbian - “The End Of Me”/“By My Side”), earning the honor of representing Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.
What attracted both the audience & music professionals is singers Luka's emotional and expressive performance.
“The song is structured in such a way that the tension gradually increases from start to finish” explains Luka.
“The big crescendo is supported by both the instruments and the main vocal, progressing from whispering to screaming and growling at the end.
It was very important for us to have the “big metal twist” happen in a dramatic and abrupt way, so it felt natural to support it with a scream.
I use screaming in a way that makes sense within the context of the lyrics and the song.
I think about what I want to convey and adjust my singing style according to the story I'm trying to tell” says Luka.
